Those gathering the news are increasingly considered a legitimate target of violence, illegal detention, kidnap and torture and the means of making a political statement, by those who would prevent the footage, images, first-hand accounts getting out to the foreign press, broadcasters and news agencies.

The need for quality, hostile environment training for journalists, news gathers and those working in such environments has never been greater. For those who are freelance it can be harder to gain access to quality training at an affordable price. Remote Trauma's Hostile Environment and Trauma Training (HETT) course is specifically aimed at freelancers from all areas of current affairs, documentary film-making, photojournalism and news gathering. To help freelancers access quality, affordable training, we are providing places on our HETT course for just £792.00 + VAT per person (normal cost of £2,100 + VAT).

March sees our first Hostile Environment and Trauma Training (HETT) course of 2013. We are continuing to offer places on the course at a heavily discounted rate for all freelancers.

This course is for freelancers from all areas of current affairs, documentary film-making, photojournalism and news gathering - our goal is to make such training accessible to those who need it most, at a price they can afford.

Our courses normally retail for £2,100 + vat, per person, but we are currently providing places for freelancers on our HETT courses at a specially discounted rate of just £750 per person including vat.

Remote Trauma supported this new ITV series by providing all the on location H&S advice for Freddie Flintoff and his crew.
