The Bolin Chest Seal is specifically engineered to be a fast, direct and effective emergency first aid solution for sucking chest wounds resulting from gunshots, stabwounds, or other penetrating chest trauma - such as those caused by shrapnel.

The Bolin Chest Seal has replaced the Asherman in the British Armed Forces due to it's superior performance when treating a chest trauma where blood is present as well as its strength and durability - reducing the chance of wrinkling on application, and allowing it to be removed and reapplied to the trauma site if required.

The use of hydrogel ensures the Bolin Chest Seal stays in place, even in difficult conditions - effectively sealing a wound even where hair and blood are present. The patented failure-proof triple-valve design of the Bolin Chest Seal allows air and blood to escape while preventing the re-entry of either, thereby eliminating any unwanted gas or liquid exchange at the trauma site.

The Bolin Chest Seal is a sterile occlusive chest wound dressing, 6" in diameter, and used for treating open pneumothorax and preventing tension pneumothorax that result from gunshots, stabwounds, or other penetrating chest trauma.
